It is left to age in French oak barrels for nine months from which a unique and one of a kind product is born. The Acacia Honey, aged in French oak barrels is called the “IL CARATO” and it won the Oscar Green Award in 2011 as an innovative product.

Born in 1984, son of farmers and a degree in Agriculture: Giorgio began to take an interest in the beekeeping sector after receiving an unusual gift from his father: two beehives. Thus, the adventure began without particular expectations nor objectives.
