Belly dance or bellydance is a Western-coined name for "solo, improvised dances based on torso 

articulation"originating from the Middle East, especially raqs sharqi. Other names which   are 

sometimes used for the dance in English speaking countries include Oriental Dance, Egyptian Dance, 

Arabic dance or Middle Eastern dance.

a fitted top or bra, a fitted hip belt, and a full-length skirt or harem pants.The bra and belt may be  richly decorated with beads, sequins, crystals, coins, beaded fringe and embroidery. The belt may be 

a separate piece, or sewn into a skirt.
