This listing is a remarkable solid, heavy crystal perfume bottle with an over sized matching screw-in crystal lid with a fully intact glass dauber. You couldn't ask for a more perfect perfume bottle to grace your dressing table and vanity tray. I've had this sitting in a central place of honor on my dressing table for quite a while, loving the compliments I received from guests, visitors and friends! I must admit it made me proud of my sharp buying skills each time I received a positive comment on this perfume bottle. As time went by, I found an exception buy on a complete vanity set, with tray, of English Stafford shire, hard

I experimented with leaving this and a few other vanity items on the dresser top but I soon came to realize the area was overcrowded. This realization is the reason for your opportunity to purchase this crystal bottle. Never mind that it has an original, intact glass rod dauber, that's it's condition is flawless, that's it's eye catchingly gorgeous, heavy and cool to the touch. There are no marks that I can see even
with the aid of a jeweler's magnifying glass. The silver threaded portion of the neck of the cap is made for insertion in and to screw into the neck of the bottle. That silver part is where I would expect a brand or mark but I was not able to see any lettering. The metal appears to be silver but I can't make a claim without a mark of some kind. I sent photographs of this bottle to an old friend in the business who had as his best guess, this was LIKELY TO BE MADE BY COLLEEN CRYSTAL. After "Googling" examples of Colleen bottles, I can't disagree but have no better suggestions either. The lead content is evident, very heavy by the size to weight ratio. The design is classic, angular base and a rounded prism top. Polished to perfection, no rough spots.
