DN Series Magnetron Sputtering & Multi-arc Ion Vacuum Coating Machine is integrated with multi-arc ion coating and magnetron sputtering coating technologies, it can be appllied to coating a variety of metal films, multilayer film, alloy film, etc, such as coating the super-hard wear-resistant film, anti-corrosion film and decorative film.
The PVD vacuum coating machine consist of vacuum chamber, rotating rack, pumping system, arc ion coating system, magnetron sputtering system, bias voltage, ion source/plasma, air compressor, heating system, cooling system, electronic control system, vacuum measurement, valve system and so on. It comes with all facilities, control systems and auxiliary appliances for the deposition of many metals on many substrates, such as plastic, metals, galss, ceramic, etc, to get harder and more corrosion resistant film.
It’s equipped with the newest Ion Bombardment (plasma) option for preparation and pre-treatment of the part to be metalized: through the Ion Bombardment application it is possible to increase the adhesion onto the substrate of the metal deposited. Ion Bombardment process is applied directly in the same cycle of metalizing, before the metal deposition phase. The automation software and the systems guarantee maximum uniformity and quick operation.
The PVD vacuum coating machine can do decorative coating colors, such as gold, silver, brown, gray, black, rose gold, coffee, rainbow and blue, yogon ect.
Common industrial coatings applied by PVD are pure metal films like Cu, Al, Cr, Au, Ni, and compound films like TiN, TiC, TiCN, TiAlN, ZrN, CrN, CrSiN, ZrTiCN, TiAlCN, ZrC, TiALN, DLC, etc.

1. What is PVD coating?
Physical Vapor Deposition or PVD, is a term used to describe a family of coating processes. The most common of these PVD coating processes are evaporation (typically using cathodic arc or electron beam sources), and sputtering (using magnetic enhanced sources or “magnetrons”, cylindrical or hollow cathode sources). All of these processes occur in vacuum at working pressure (typically 10-2 to 10-4 mbar) and generally involve bombardment of the substrate to be coated with energetic positively charged ions during the coating process to promote high density. Additionally, reactive gases such as nitrogen, acetylene or oxygen may be introduced into the vacuum chamber during metal deposition to create various compound coating compositions. The result is a very strong bond between the coating and the tooling substrate and tailored physical, structural and tribological properties of the film.
