Working principle

The dehydration process of screw press dehydrator consists of two stages. The first stage is dehydration with screw conveyor. The screw conveyor consists of three parts, the transmission section, compression section and discharge section. The transmission section ensures the smooth input of materials into the equipment; The inner diameter of the spiral blade and spiral in the dehydration section become smaller and smaller, thus the transmission space becomes smaller, which cause the pressure on the input materials become larger and larger. Therefore,the materials are squeezed and the solids and liquids are separated. The second stage is the secondary dehydration with feeder. When the materials enter into the discharge section of the screw conveyor, it will apply axial thrust to the materials to push them out of the outlet, meanwhile the feeder will apply opposite acting force to the materials to be pushed out with the assistance of the pressure system.
