Introduction:
Water-soluble solid surface sizing agent of chitosan, a new biological preparation with the help of modern Marine bioengineering technology, is derived from abundant natural organic raw materials from deep sea of Japan. It takes starch as the carrier, combines with various substances in starch with its unique physical properties, and instantly finishes the reaction in the gelatinize and drying of paper, forming a strong and ductile network structure layer, thus giving paper excellent surface strength, with the noble reputation of surface sizing agent.
Features:
I. The product is solid which can solve problems in long-distance transportation, packaging and inventory;
2. The product is weakly anionic and has good compatibility with whitening agent and AKD on surface sizing;
3. The product is water-soluble chitosan, which can be mixed with water at any ratio, filling the blank in China;
4. The product is at the molecular level, with the highest consumption of 200g/ ton paper, 1/20 of that of traditional surface sizing agent;
5. The product is environment-friendly, food-grade, non-toxic, tasteless and very low VOC;
6. The product is a reactive type, which reacts with starch groups in the drying part. The internal bond strength and interlayer bond strength are better than those of polyvinyl alcohol and phenylpropyl film forming sizing agent, with excellent surface strength performance;
7. The product forms a chemical film with starch, which reduces the air permeability of the paper and has excellent moisture-proof performance;
8, The PH value of the solution is slightly alkaline, mixed with starch (acidity) is neutral, prevent equipment corrosion.

The starch was heated to the highest temperature and entered into the insulation section. According to the dosage, the accurately weighed solid sizing agent was diluted in a scale of 1:5. After soaking for 10min, it was dissolved by stirring and added into the boil tank. |
The solution concentration of the solid surface sizing agent was 5%. After soaking for 10min, start stirring to dissolve. |

The solid surface sizing agent solution is added near the middle position of the starch boil tank, if it is near the wall of the tank easy to hang the wall affect the effect of use. |
After dissolving, filter with 80 mesh sieve to storage tank for later use. |
