1、 Overview of iron flange bottom valve:
The bottom valve is a kind of energy-saving valve, which is generally installed at the bottom of the underwater suction pipe of the pump. It restricts the liquid in the pump pipe to return to the water source, and plays the function of only entering but not leaving. There are many water inlet products and reinforcing ribs on the valve cover, which are not easy to block. It is mainly used in the pipeline, water channel and support
The caliber has single lobe, double lobe, multi lobe, flange connection and thread connection
The bottom valve consists of valve body, valve disc, valve cover, bushing, sealing ring and other components. As shown in the figure below, water from the water source enters the valve body from the valve cover. Under the pressure of fluid, the valve disc opens water. When the valve stops, the pressure in the outlet pipe closes the valve disc, and the liquid will not return to the water source, which plays the role of smooth flow and saving water energy loss
1. In order not to let the medium reverse flow, check valves should be installed on equipment, devices and pipelines;
2. Check valve is generally suitable for clean media, not for media with solid particles and high viscosity;
3. Generally, the vertical lifting check valve should be used in the horizontal pipeline with nominal diameter of 50 mm;
If you don't install a bottom valve, once the pump stops, the water in the suction pipe will leak out, so you have to fill the water again. In order to reduce this trouble, you need to install a bottom valve to avoid water leaking out and filling the water again. Today's new products are better, but there is still a lot of resistance. If the negative suction type is adopted (the elevation of the pump is lower than the elevation of the suction surface), the bottom valve is not needed
