What is fumed silica?
Fumed silica, also known as colloidal silicon dioxide, is superfine micro-nano fine chemical products with non-toxic,non-odorless, non-pollution characteristics. Fumed silica is divided into hydrophilic type and hydrophobic type according to their different surface treatment process.
Fumed silica is white amorphous powder with primary particle size 7 – 40nm. It has significant functions of reinforcing, thickening, thixotropy, anti-settling and anti-caking.
