Engine is the most intensive key component of a car. The engine assembly line is an assembly line process of engine sequential assembly. Due to the cumbersome process, The work must be processed as precisely as possible. In engine production, the assembly line will decide the final structure and final precision of the engine, which is vitally important to ensure the precision and quality of the engine.
Here we mainly assemble the engines in the motorcycle with a single or two-cylinder small engine.
Processing Steps
The customer provides with the casing of engine , and then go the assembly process:
1. VIN code (serial number).
Each engine must be equipped with a coding machine (pneumatic coding machine), the engine must have code number. All over the world, It will not give engine the formal license without coding.
2. Pressing bearings.
There are special bearing presses to press bearings into the crankcase.
3. The casings of engine have left and right two parts.
There's a gap in the middle,Put the crankshaft and the gears in the engine housing ; There are two ways to close the shell of engine: on the production line and off the line,generally using the way of off the production line.In this section,it can be equipped with automatic glue applicator according to the customers need.
The vertical circulation process are as follows in engine assembly line:
Parts supplying system.
All parts required for the engine put into the Parts supplying system, It runs synchronously with the fixture ; can be selected according to the customers demands.
Leak-proof experiment.
Anti-oil leakage experiment, the box is completely closed, filled with high-pressure air, lifted by a 50 kg small crane, and immersed in the leak test machine. If there is a leak, first tighten the screw, if it can not be solved, it will be returned for reparation.
Running-in experiment.
Check whether there is any problem with each engine, such as the gears, the small load-bearing chains, the valves etc. (This running-in test-bed is a machine with beautiful appearance, more functions, convenient and easy to operate.)
Some tips of engine assembly line:
The working distance is about 1.2 meters, which can be adjusted, but it can not be less than 800 mm.
The length of the working distance in assembly line is decided by the customer.
The Planar circulating method , X-speed chain, also known as double-speed chain, this line is called forced beat, which is fixed connected with each other; there is also a flexible beat, each station can be adjusted flexibly, each station can operate separately. (The forced beat is highly efficient, and the research department can use flexible beats; Customers can be recommended to choose the mandatory beat.)
Sheet chain conveyor line, the production line can be operated with one side.
