Sandblasted mirrors with an attractive smooth, silky surface is an innovative decorative glass product, and can be used to enhance all areas of the home. Produced by acid etching one face of a piece of clear glass, it has a distinctive, uniformly smooth and satin-like appearance. As a translucent product, it admits light whilst still providing obscuration and vision control.

Acid Glass is glass which has been rendered opaque through a process which roughens or obscures the clear surface of the class. Commercially produced Acid Glass is usually frosted with acid etching or sandblasting. Acid etching is used to make Acid Glass with a pattern.
