1. Principles
Electric-spark Overlaying Technology is releasing the high-energy power into the space between metal electrode and base metal instantaneously in high frequency. Through the gas ionization that between electrode material and parent metal to form multiple micro-arc channels and produce instantaneous high-temperature microcell on the surface of the parent metal, the electrode material subjected to micro electric field should be welded into the parent metal and form a metallurgical bond. Electro-spark technology is a repetitive and instantaneous high temperature – cooling process in microcell. Different from the welding matrix, no stress or deformation caused by temperature rise would take place.
