SFR-BN Boron Nitride Coating
SFR-BN boron nitride coating has excellent non-wetting property for molten aluminum. Even a extreme thin layer, it's enough to isolate molten aluminum from the base material effectively.
SFR-BN boron nitride coating is a blue thin paste-like coating. It will be a suspension emulsion after dilution. There is no precipitation or delamination within 30 minutes. The solid material is 98% of boron nitride and the other is 2%.
Application:
Suitable for metal surface and refractory material which in contact with molten aluminum, such as launders, distribution plates, ladles, metal molds, slag retaining rings, filter box linings, thermocouples, lower casting tubes, flow tubes, adapter plates, casing pipe, continuous casting , silicon carbide brick and graphite crucible, various ceramic structural parts, automatic pouring spoon, etc. It can also be used on the surface of the aluminum rod before extrusion to reduce the friction between the cast rod and the mold.
Application method:
This product is a concentrated, it needs to be diluted before use. For different painting objects, it requires different dilution ratios. When painting the continuous casting, the material: water=1:1; when painting the porous material, the material: water=1:2, stir evenly after dilution, then apply with a brush; when spraying, the material: water=1 : 3-4. For porous materials, such as refractory materials, 5-10 minutes after coating and spraying, the surface can be wiped with a soft cloth and make the surface obtain the effect of enamel, which can prolong the service life of coatings and materials.
PACKAGE
Packaged in 4 kgs barrel, sample in 1kg barrel.
Store in a cool warehouse, the temperature not lower than 10°C.
STORAGE
Storage beyond 12 months is not recommended.
