Application
Mainly used as raw material for polyvinyl chloride plasticizer. Used as a solvent and preservative. Octanol is mainly used in the manufacture of phthalates and aliphatic dibasic acid plasticizers such as dioctyl phthalate, dioctyl sebacate and dioctyl sebacate. The main plasticizer and cold-resistant auxiliary plasticizer, defoamer, dispersant, ore dressing agent and petroleum filler are also used in printing and dyeing, paint and film.
