The red garra is also known as the pedicure fish as they will graze of dead human skin cells and are used in some spas during pedicures.
This garra is definitely more aggressive than Panda Garras and will chase and nip. Shouldn’t be kept with any similar shaped or related fish unless keeping in a large group in a species specific only tank.
This garra also prefer cooler temperatures between 57 degrees F (14 C) and 68 degrees F (20 C)
Diet: Omnivore and grazer, will readily accept most frozen and prepared foods.
