RTV-2 liquid silicone rubber raw material for jewelry mold making
RTV-2-444 is mould-making silicone rubber. It is cured with 3% or 5% amount condensation type catalyst. It is cured at room temperature. It has excellent properties, as low linear shrinkage, high tear resistance, high tensile resistance, high elongation at break & recycled use etc.
RTV-2-444 is applied in making jewelry mould.

1. Stay in airproof, dryness, cool & 25℃, avoid sunshine.
2. Storage life: 6 ~12 months.
3. If viscosity increase & turn thicker, please mix 300~400 circles/min (the limit is less than 900 circles) & mix 1 minute.
1. The first section, please mix by mixer, then the rubber will be more liquid & easy to handle. Attention: mix 300~400 circles/min (the limit is less than 900 circles) & mix 1 minute.
2. If necessary, add 1~2% of defoamer (RTV-66).
3. Add catalyst according to instruction rate exactly. Further mix until two components fully mixed.
4. 10 minutes vacuum pumping for RTV rubber mixture by vacuum machine, then bubble will be out.
5. Make moulds by perfusion or coating procedure.
6. If increase or decrease catalyst, it may cause failure.
7. If request curing faster, heating will be acceptable, as low temperature heating in oven.
