Roma – Jewel Edition Volume is entirely handmade using 220 gram thick artisanal cotton paper.

After the quality checks, the Book – protected by its case or by shock-absorbing pads –
is positioned inside the Book Box with its certificate of authenticity and warranty.
The Book Box - a true design piece – is wrapped in protective paper and shipped inside a robust
cardboard box specially developed to optimally safeguard the book during the shipment.
The parcel is then sealed and handed over to selected forwarders for rapid insured air shipment.

Manufacturing Technique
Choosing a D’ORO Collection book means choosing a prestigious work, entirely made in Italy following the most ancient and
sophisticated bookbinding techniques.
“The waiting time is of paramount importance: it guarantees that the book is unique, handmade and highly valuable”.
We do not implement mass production. Each book is specially made for its collector: the copy number is notified to the collector
at the time of the order and the book starts to be created.
Book creation is completed in 30/40 days, then the book is submitted to stringent quality checks before being finally shipped.
The pages are positioned on wooden frames of the type used in the Middle Ages and are stitched one by one using a needle and a cotton thread.
After all the pages have been stitched, hammered and glued we proceed to cutting and rasping to obtain the proper deckled finish
which is typical of a handmade book.

Finally, after meticulously aligning all the book edges, we apply the support cores for the covers that are made of leather and subsequently nestled in the gilded sculptures which characterize the D’ORO Collection Volumes.
At the end of the 100 hours, the vice grip is loosened, the Volume is withdrawn and is ready for the quality checks and, finally,

We are a Publishing House specialized in the creation of valuable Books, published in Limited and Numbered Edition, with over twenty years of experience.
Each Book is made entirely by hand in the workshops located in our headquarters in Via Appia Antica, in Rome, a symbol of history and culture for over 2000 years.
2. How can we guarantee quality?
We control the entire supply chain for the creation of each Book.
Paper mill, printing workshop, foundry and goldsmith’s workshop are under our direct control in order to preserve family and artisan know-how and keep traditions alive.
We purchase only top quality Italian raw materials from certified suppliers.
We create each Book individually, carefully following the steps of artisanal craftsmanship and excluding serial operations, so as to obtain really unique works.
We make only 1 Book per day.

Our publications include State Publishing, Publications for Private Clients,
Publications for Companies, Collection Titles.
Starting in 2019, we introduced co-branded publications partnering with selected brands so as to increase the network and the prestige of both partners, with the intention of publishing one Title per year.
The first co-branded Book is DNA Lamborghini resulting from an agreement signed with Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A.
The Books are published according to the following print runs:
1. One-Off Edition: 1 copy
2. Exclusive Edition: from 2 to 9 copies
3. Rare Edition: from 10 to 49 copie
4. Numbered and Limited Edition: 50 copies or more
