ROASTING
It is the most delicate production process, the one that more than the others determines the "taste of coffee". Caffè Pompeii has carefully analyzed various partner companies by selecting slow cycle, flexible and fully automated roasting plants for this process in order to optimize the caramelization of sugars and the formation of aromas for each individual coffee origin.
Each coffee origin has its own peculiarities: in order to roast every single bean in a workmanlike manner, we have chosen to roast by single origin, then mixing the aromas and flavors of the different origins, all only after adequate seasoning .

The Ulisse Coffee Beans under the Caffè Pompeii ® brand , are characterized by precious and exclusive blends that fully reflect
the Neapolitan culture and tradition of the coffee ritual.
Ulisse Gusto Extra - Forte is a blend that comes from the blending of different Robusta coffees from India, Uganda and Asia
respectively.
The fine grinding and slow and prolonged roasting give it a strong aroma with clear spicy hints with peppery notes due to the dark
roasting.
Yield in the cup:
* Intense with thick and dark cream.
* 20/30 ml Espresso Coffee
Our Coffee are produced in Italy and in bag with valve packaged. This packaging procedure allows the freshly roasted blend to be
kept in a protected atmosphere, i.e. to preserve all the aromatic notes that characterize it, until the product is opened.

Production Process
MIXING AND PACKAGING
After roasting and a further cleaning phase, the coffee is left to mature for a few days in silos. Then it is mixed according to the recipes created by the "Master Taster" and sent to the grinding and packaging.
The constant control of the granulometry of the ground coffee and its transport in a closed circuit with recovery of the aroma, guarantee maximum fragrance. Packaging under vacuum or in a compensated atmosphere with inert gas (nitrogen) maintains the
freshness of taste and aromas over time.
