Company Introduction

Ph.D. students from HKUST (Hong Kong University of Science and Technology) invented the NCCO technology to purify the air they were taking in daily.

NCCO International Limited is fully owned by RHT Industrial Limited. A multinational patented NCCO Air Purification technology has been obtained, which deployed in over 300 health care institutions worldwide and many public and private institutions in Hong Kong.

NCCO was first implemented in hospitals and medical labs to kill bacterias, viruses, and clean formalin odors in rooms and bathrooms. The effective result and saving cost made the hospital's client very satisfied. After a few years testing, more than 100 hospitals, metro station, and banks used the NCCO tech to purify the air.

Our Advantages

NANO

Nano is a unit of measure for extremely small objects such as atoms and molecules. 1 nanometre is 1/1,000,000th of the diameter of
human hair.

CONFINED

The shape-selective properties of our catalytic material allow their usage in molecular adsorption. A granule of catalytic
material with a diameter of 0.4 cm has around 400 feet of adsorption tunnel. This catalytic material is able to absorb certain
molecules whilst excluding others. This results in efficient removal of pollutants such as VOCs from the environment.

CATALYTIC

There are transition metals (Zeolites) impregnated within the porous structure of our catalytic material. These transition metals can act as catalysts to enhance the reaction between the gaseous contaminants and oxidants.

OXIDATION

Active oxygen is generated and is able to oxidise gaseous contaminants into non harmful molecules of water and carbon dioxide.
These will leave the catalytic material regenerating and releasing more sites to be used for adsorption of pollutants.

About NCCO Technology

NCCO is a patented air purification technology that it combines both "adsorption" and "emission" air purification technologies, resulting in a purification efficiency and filter life that far exceeds any other air treatment system on the market today. It can remove viruses and bacteria, as well as harmful air pollutants without causing secondary pollution, and is the only air purification system in existence that can be used in industrial, commercial and medical applications.

The most widely used "adsorption" air purification technology in the market today is activated carbon. However, the major drawback of air purification systems using this type of technology is that they have a short service life and are prone to secondary pollution.

"Emission" air purification technologies involve release of active species into air which may lead to other drawback. Take
negative ions as an example, it causes more dust to fall to the ground, affecting the elderly, children and people with allergic rhinitis.

In contrast, NCCO air purification technology combines the advantages of two air purification technologies - Adsorption and Emission. First, the fan drag untreated air into the air purifier, where a pre-filter is used to filter dust, animal hair and
larger particles from the air, followed by High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) to filter out allergens, suspended particulates (PM2.5), mold, bacteria and viruses from the air.

NCCO air purification system utilizes the active oxygen produced by the active oxygen generator to oxidize and kill the bacteria and viruses that adhere to the HEPA filters. Gaseous pollutants enter the NCCO reactor and combine with the active oxygen released from the active oxygen generator to quickly and completely decompose the pollutants into harmless water and carbon dioxide.

As NCCO's air purification technology is decomposition rather than simple capture, the filter lifetime is much longer than other air purification systems, lasting up to 12 years in a laboratory environment.
