Pure acrylic polymer emulsion for waterbased varnish paint
Pure acrylic copolymer emulsions are manufactured by mixing the modified liquid and acrylic monomers in water with different surfactants. Once the monomers are emulsified to form a stable monomer-in- water suspension, a polymerization reaction is initiated and monomers react to form styrene-acrylic copolymers that remain in a stable suspension or emulsion.
Features:
Pure acrylic polymer emulsion is normally used to produce the varnish paint. It has excellent water resistance, alkali resistance, scrub resistance, mechanical stability and leveling property.
Application:
1) used as additives to adhesives, binders, concrete mixtures, coating mixtures to improve flexibilties, water resistance,
2) for example:
- architectural binder coatings
- cement mortar and concrete additives
- concrete membrane application
- concrete sealing
-roof maintenance coating
