The common equilibrium salt solutions are eagle's solution, Hank's solution and phosphate buffer solution (PBS). D-hanks equilibrium salt solution is one of the most commonly used phosphate buffer solutions, also known as CMF Hanks' balanced salt solution, cmf-hbss solution or d-hanks' BSS. It is mainly composed of sodium chloride, potassium chloride, phosphate, sodium bicarbonate, glucose, etc., without Ca2 +, Mg2 +, and pH value is generally 7.2-7.4. D-hanks balanced salt solution (1 ×, no phenol red), no Ca2 +, Mg2 +, no phenol red, prepared with heavy steam ultra pure water, pH value of 7.4, after strict filtration and sterilization, can be used for the preparation of trypsin EDTA cell digestion solution and other non or low calcium and magnesium cell culture solutions, tissue and cell rinsing, etc.

1. In the process of cell culture, cell washing should pay attention to aseptic operation to avoid microbial contamination.
2. D-hanks equilibrium salt solution (1 ×, without phenol red) is not easy to precipitate because it does not contain calcium ions. In this case, it can be placed in a warm bath until the precipitate dissolves. If there is more precipitation, it should be discarded.
