Product Description
Disc forgings, also known as forging plates and cake forgings, are workpieces obtained after heating related materials and placing them on forging equipment for full forging (upsetting and stretching). Through the final upsetting process, the height of the material decreases and the diameter plus-sized. The internal fiber streamline changes from parallel distribution along the axis to radial distribution along the radial direction, and the metal grains are refined and improved in this process. Therefore, compared with plates or bars directly cut, forged disks have better strength, toughness, impact strength and fatigue resistance.
