Welcome to use the MSLRX03 digital mammography system produced by Medsinglong. To install and use this product correctly, read the user manual carefully before installation or use. 3.1 Product overview
The MSLRX03 digital mammography system uses a flat panel detector to detect the image, which is collected and processed at the imaging workstation. This device has the following functions:
Mechanical movement and control: simple and flexible structural design is used. The C-arm can elevate and rotate within a large range of motion to satisfy vertical, horizontal and other imaging requirements.
X-ray generator: a high-voltage generator provides the voltage required by X-ray tube to perform exposure, which converts the high voltage to X-rays and projects it to the examined part throuImage collection:
the flat panel detector collects high-resolution images and transmits them to the workstation.
Image processing: advanced processing, such as smoothening, sharpening and noise reduction. Functions such as image contrast, brightness, edge enhancement, histogram, Gamma adjustment and several LUT adjustments are available to obtain the best quality image.
Image output: standard DICOM3.0 interface is available to connect laser film printer, PACS, RIS, and other devices, to transfer and print the image conveniently.
Case management: case information can be established locally as needed or downloaded from the server (PACS, WorkList).
3.2 Product composition
The system is mainly made up of the main frame, console, PDU, the image workstation, wherein the main frame is composed of the body and head, specifically including: C arm, X-ray tube holder, X-ray tube, Collimator, Compressor, the flat detector, body keys, head keys etc. the image workstation of system doesn’t belong to the medical equipment but general equipment.In the whole system, compressor and Bucky belong to application section.Accordance with the principle, the system can be divided into four parts, specifically including: X-ray generator, digital image chain, mechanical movement systems, control components.
X-ray generator
X-ray tube (X-ray tube component): refers to the device converting high voltage to X-rays.
Collimator (beam-defining clipper): it is used to control the X-ray radiation view. The size of collimator opening and filtration materials can be adjusted as required.High-voltage generator (high-voltage transformer component): it is used to provide X-Ray tube with high voltage so that X-Ray tube can generate X-rays.
Digital image chain
Detector: flat panel detector plays a pivotal role in image collection.
Imaging workstation: it is installed with image processing software (Medsinglong MSLRX03 digital mammography system software), which is the major controlling part of this system.
Mechanical movement system
Main frame: it bears the weight of the C-arm and its pedestal is fixed on the floor.
C-arm: the mechanical device that elevates and rotates; it can move flexibly to various heights and positions to accommodate different patients. At the bottom of the C-arm is a detector which is used for image collection.Compressor: it can raise and lower in a large range on the bucky. It can ascend quickly, descend with normal speed and keep decelerating and pressing automatically after contacting the breast tissues. Smart flexible compression control mode relieves patient’s compression pain and facilitates operation.X-Ray tube supporting structure: X-Ray tube and collimator are fixed on the structure, in which X-Ray tube can rotate in ±30° by surrounding the detector.
Control component
PDU: the PDU is installed with a high-voltage generator, isolation transformer, and other components, to provide high voltage required for emitting X-rays from the X-ray tube and the power required for the movement display of different parts of the machine.Body button: it is used to control the elevation and right and left rotation of C-arm (one-touch-ready function).Console: it is used to install workstation, monitor, scanner gun, and other parts and control and operate the exposure.
Machine head button: it is used to control the rotation of X-ray tube, open the view lamp and adjust the view window size.Foot switches: located on both sides of the machine to elevate C-arm and compressor.
