Application:
Maintaining a constant evaporation temperature, and thus a uniform surface temperature of the evaporator. The regulation is modulating. When throttling in the suction line, the amount of refrigerant flowing adapts to the evaporator load.
To protect against too low pressure evaporation (such as protection against freezing water cooler). The regulator closes when the pressure in the evaporator falls below the set value.
The evaporating pressure variation in two or more evaporators in systems with one compressor.
