The term "organic farming" indicates a cultivation method which allows only the use of natural substances, found in nature, to
fertilise the soils and defend plant health. This Nebbiolo is the product of our first organic wine project. Above all, organic farming means working together with nature and constantly seeking new technical solutions which allow the production of grapes of
unquestionable quality, dramatically reducing the impact upon the environment. Thanks to this technique, the vine is able to strengthen its own self-defence systems, and our agronomist meticulously monitors the cultivation phases; production yields are
reduced in favour of high quality grapes.
All the work that takes place in the vineyard is carried out in compliance with the directives envisaged by EC Reg. 2092/91 and is
certified by the ICEA (Institute for Environmental Ethical Certification)
Our Langhe Doc Arneis is made from a characteristic Piedmontese white grape variety, grown in compliance with the restrictions governing organic farming. After soft pressing, the must ferments for about ten days at a controlled temperature of 16-18° C. The wine then stays on the lees for a few months and a short period in the bottle.
