In 1996, Universal Kith & Kin (M) Sdn. Bhd. - UKK - was founded and traded mainly on food flavourings.
Over the years, our portfolio grows as we supply tailor-made food additives, such as stabilisers and suspending agents, for a wide range of functional and visual applications in the food industries.
In 2002, we became a major supplier of gelling agents for Malaysia and overseas. Our gelling agents includes jelly powder, pudding powder, custard powder etc.
Currently we produce and manufacture Nata de Coco - a chewy, translucent, jelly-like foodstuff produced by the fermentation of coconut water, which gels through the production of microbial cellulose. We also sell jelly boba as well as popping boba for which have excellent applications in beverage and desserts.
We pride ourselves in product innovation and process specialisation. We continue to strive for greater knowledge in food hydrocolloids and their applications in new product developments and novel food products. Moreover, we commit ourselves in assuring the quality and consistency of our products.
