LOCTITE Product Pipe-Seal 55
LOCTITE Product Pipe-Seal 55 is a general-purpose thread seal for pipe fittings.
The product is a non-curing (ready-to-use) sealing thread wound directly from the kit onto the threads of pipe fittings.
The product is supplied in convenient containers that serve both for the storage and distribution of the sealing product.
The product meets the requirements of regulatory documents allowing its use in water and gas environments (KTW and DV – Germany, BS – Great Britain) and provides effective sealing of pipe threaded connections immediately after installation. Sealing threaded elements (according to ISO 7/1), e.g., couplings and pipe fittings, either with cylindrical or tapered threads, used in pipelines for aqueous and non-aqueous media at temperatures up to 130°C.
The product meets the requirements of regulatory documents allowing its use in water and gas environments (KTW and DV – Germany, BS – Great Britain) and provides effective sealing of pipe threaded connections immediately after installation. Sealing threaded elements (according to ISO 7/1), e.g., couplings and pipe fittings, either with cylindrical or tapered threads, used in pipelines for aqueous and non-aqueous media at temperatures up to 130°C.
The product may, in particular, be used in situations requiring the quick installation of threaded elements with subsequent minimum adjustment before the operation.
Recommended for use on pipe fittings with a maximum outside diameter of 6". The product is resistant to gases classified as 1, 2 and 3 categories of aggressiveness, hot and cold water.
