PCM-Phase Change Material (PCM-Phase Change Material) is a widely used thermal energy storage material. It uses heat absorption and exothermic during the phase change (solid-liquid-solid) process to store and release thermal energy, so as to achieve the purpose of controlling environmental temperature and conducting heat exchange. Phase change materials are classified into organic and inorganic materials.

Phase change materials have long cooling time, many cycles and uniform heat absorption. Single group of phase change materials can be used for 2-4 hours at 35 degree ambient temperature, and can be recycled by multiple groups of phase change materials.

Traditional clothing mainly uses the characteristics of minimal air thermal conductivity to avoid heat loss by increasing the static air inside the fabric. Its insulation effect mainly depends on the thickness and density of the fabric, and its insulation effect is affected by external compression and moisture.
The thermal insulation mechanism of intelligent air conditioning fabrics is a new thermal insulation mechanism which can provide comfortable "microclimate environment" for human body, and can be heat regulated, not just thermal insulation. Textiles containing phase change materials can act as a "regulator" between the human body and clothing, clothing and the external environment, regardless of whether the temperature of the external environment increases or decreases.
