Permanent drum magnet separator for fine iron removal in housing used in grain,plastic,ceramic,etc remove both large and small pieces of iron from material processing lines. Powerful permanent magnetic drum enable more efficient separation performance for a broader range of applications.Magnetic drum separator with housing can provide automatic removal of tramp iron from heavy flows of bulk materials, including large and highly abrasive materials and purify a variety of products, such as, grain, carbon black, fertilizers, food, chemicals, rubber, and other powder, bulk or granular materials.

In applications where product needs to be kept from external contamination or where dusty product must be contained from escaping into the working environment, Permanent Drums can be supplied with totally enclosed housings.
Housings can be manufactured in robust mild steel or stainless steel. Inspection covers, aspirators and diverter plates are provided as standard.

Work Principle:
As material reaches the drum, the magnetic field attracts and holds ferrous particles to the drum shell. As the drum revolves, it carries the material through the stationary magnetic field. The nonmagnetic material falls freely from the shell, while the magnetic particles are held firmly until they are carried out of the magnetic field.
