The unique side rail design minimizes the openings between the side rails, mattress, head/foot boards and bed frame to prevent entrapment. Silent Linak actuators provide smooth, reliable movement of the bed frame. The modular battery backup system and actuators are protected against spraying and splashing water. The motors are reliable, durable, and equipped with overheat protection. The side rails lower and tuck under the bed for easy navigation through doorways. The durable 5” caster wheels move easily over door sills and four integrated roller bumpers prevent damage to walls and door jambs. The smooth powder-coated metal and polypropylene surfaces are easily cleaned for infection control.
