How to install the mould for billet continuous casting?

1. When the mold is off-line, the equipment maintenance, copper tube inspection, pressure test, arc butt, nozzle detection and other work have been completed and meet the requirements of on-line. On this premise, the mold is lifted to the pouring platform for mold installation. 2. If the mold has built-in electromagnetic stirring, it needs to be detected off-line; if the mold has external electromagnetic stirring, it needs to place the electromagnetic stirring on the on-line agitator mounting bracket when installing the mold. Different casters have different design concepts, and the installation position of agitator is different. 3. After the online mold electromagnetic stirring device is installed, the mold is hoisted on the vibration device, and the connection between the vibration device and the mold cooling water is usually automatic. According to the positioning pin on the vibration device, the installation position of the mold is determined, and the arc aligning device is used to align the arc of the mold copper tube with the basic arc radius of the continuous caster. If the error exceeds the allowable range, the crystallizer shall be adjusted accordingly and locked with a fixed device after adjustment. 4. Connect the cooling water of the crystallizer online, and check whether the water plate of the crystallizer and the vibration device is sealed well and whether there is water leakage. Start the vibration device and observe whether the mould is not locked or deflected. 5. After the inspection, cover the mould cover and complete the installation. Start the secondary water system and check whether the cooling pipe in foot roll area is unobstructed. 6. There is no problem in the whole inspection process, so the simulated pouring can be carried out. After the simulation is completed, the dummy bar is sent to the final position of the lower opening of the mold, the cooling water in the copper tube is compressed and dried, and the cooling material is loaded to prepare for casting.
