How does the GPS speed limiter works

The GPS speed limiter is controlled by microcomputer to realize the effective control of the high speed, to avoid the potential safety risk caused by over speed driving, and at the same time to ensure the free action of accelerator pedal within the scope of speed limit. Beside, also support real time tracking, alarms, and driving behavior monitoring.

Product Functions

l  Speed limiter

Enforce to limit the speed of your vehicle if preset maximum speed reach Pre-warn at a speed of 5% less than preset speed.

l  Tamper proof

Maximum speed is 40km/h if maximum speed is tampered or speed wire is cut.

Any lose of signal of speed wire, GPS antenna, external power wire, it will automatically send alarm to server.

l  Download data

Data can be stored for 72 hour at intervals of 5 seconds

Data can be retrieved using a USB cable

l  Printer

Violations can be printout for the last one hour driving.

Speed violations can be printable.

l  Violations alarm

All violations (over speed, tamper maximum speed data) will be transmitted to platform.

Tamper proof

1)     Remove GPS antenna, device will restrict speed at 40km automatically

2)     Remove speed signal wire, device will restrict speed at 40km automatically

3)     Remove Ignition wire, it will cut fuel to stop the engine automatically

4)     Remove positive or negative wire, it will cut fuel to stop engine automatically

5)     Overspeed alarm:

Ø Pre-alarm: when speed is <80km/h, the buzzer will intermittent rings

Overspeed alarm: when speed is >80km/h, the buzzer will continuously rings, and cut fuel to stop engine automatically.
