Different with normal pigments, fluorescent pigments can absorb part of the light (including UV light) and transfer it into a longer wavelength and similar to the normal reflected hue light -- fluorescent light which makes this pigment exceptionally bright and of outstanding visibility.
Fluorescent pigments can be divided into thermoplastic, solvent-based, water-soluble three series.
Fluorescent pigments are highly suitable for a vast majority of screen printing formulations from water-based, aliphatic/aromatic solvents to UV curable. Widely used in commercial printing of magazines, postcards, corrugated (cardboard) for product packaging,food packaging, wallpaper, wrapping paper, furniture laminates and paneling.
