Achromatic lens
Achromatic bicombinate lens is a combination of a positive lens with a low refractive index (coronal glass) and a negative lens with a high refractive index (flint glass). The near-axis aberration, such as spherical aberration, coma aberration and chromatic aberration, has been well corrected by computer optimization design. When used for focusing collimation, the plane of a convex lens or a small radius of curvature usually faces collimation light. When used for imaging, a convex lens must be oriented toward the side of the object or image at a longer distance. In the design, the dispersion values and lens shapes were optimized at three wavelengths, blue (486.1nm), green (546.1nm) and red (656.3nm), to achieve the minimum chromatic aberration. Thus, such lenses can be used throughout the visible region.
The achromatic lens is designed to minimize or eliminate chromatic aberration. Its achromatic design also helps to minimize spherical aberration. Compared with a single lens, the spherical aberration of a decolorized double lens is much smaller. When used in an infinite conjugate state, the spherical difference is the smallest. Achromatic lens is suitable for fluorescence microscope, image relay, detection or spectrum applications. Achromatic lenses are manufactured by gluing together two or more components. Achromatic lenses can form smaller points of light than single-lens lenses.

A3. Optical glass lenses are processed in the vacuum dust-free workshop, the processing technology includes material preparation, milling and grinding, precision grinding, polishing, rinsing, edging, coating, inspection and agglutination.
To guarantee high-quality of lenses, each processing will be inspected for three times.
