Description | Malva nut (also known as sterculia nut) is a nut from the Scaphium macropodum tree which is a type of woody forest tree with a base diameter of more than 1 meter, a height of 20-40 meters. In Vietnam, Malva nut are usually harvested during the period from April to the end of May. Malva nut is dried to preserve for a long time, when soaked in water, the seeds bloom very large (8-10 times more) into a mucus. light brown in color, slightly acrid and cool in taste. |
