TIPS AND TRICKS
1. Sharpen the Blades
For safety reasons, your YUNWEI Kindling Splitter XL ships with a slightly dull blade. We recommend that you sharpen your blade before you use it, and periodically as needed. If the blade is dull, it won't go through the wood as easily as it should.
To sharpen the blade, use a steel or a buffing wheel to sharpen the blades. If you use the steel, just gently run it up and down the blade. With a buffing wheel, rest the blade against the wheel while it turns. If your blade isn't that dull, you only need to use the polishing side of the buffing wheel.
2. Don't Cut Wet Wood
Whether your blades are sharp or dull, you shouldn't use them to cut wet wood. Wood that is newly cut is spongy won’t break easily. We recommend that you only split wood that has been aged for a season or more.
3. Clean the Log Splitter Regularly
Clean your log splitter on a regular basis. Dust and scrub the unit as needed, and dry it afterwards to ensure that it doesn’t rust.

Normally our delivery time is 30-35 days. It also should be depend on what kind of product and the quantity you require. But if we have the products in stock, then the delivery time will be in about 10 days or less.
