1.WHICH ARE BETTER—BALL BEARINGS OR SLEEVE BEARINGS?
Bearings reduce friction for moving or rotating parts—they allow the part to move or rotate smoothly. Whether it is a pump, fan, conveyor, winch, crane, automobile, hard disk, or anything that has a moving or rotating part, usually a shaft, it will most likely have bearings to allow it to move or rotate freely. Bearings can be broadly categorized as being based on round balls or based on cylindrical sleeves. The former is called as ball bearing and the latter as sleeve or journal bearing.
During its operation, the rotating shaft faces two types of forces or thrust loads. These are the axial thrust loads acting along the axis of the shaft, and the radial thrust loads acting perpendicular to the axis of the shaft. For instance, the major thrust on a shaft operating a corkscrew is axial, while that acting on the shaft of a centrifugal pump is predominantly radial. Gravity also plays a part here, depending on whether the shaft is oriented vertically or horizontally. A vertical orientation gives a greater axial thrust, while a horizontal shaft faces higher radial thrust. Whether axial or radial, bearings carry the thrust on the shaft while allowing smooth operation. While ball bearings can carry both radial and axial thrust loads, sleeve bearings are specifically meant to carry radial thrust loads only, as they have no capacity to carry axial thrust loads.
2.What are the advantages and disadvantages of Ball Bearing and Sleeve Bearing?
Ball bearings have a long life(50000hrs) and are expensive; Sleeve bearings are cheap and have a short life(30000hrs).
3.What is a DC Axial Fan?
A DC fan is usually powered by 3v, 5v, 12v, 24v, 36v and 48v. It blows air along the axis of the fan, or parallel to the track of the blade axis. Standard DC Axial fan sizes include 20mm, 30mm, 40mm, 50mm, 60mm, 70mm, 80mm, 92mm,120mm, 150mm, and 200mm.
4. How to choose a DC fan?
To choose a DC fan, you should consider the points below
*fan size(mm):
*fan speed(rpm):
*fan airflow(cfm):
*fan noise level(dBA):
*fan start voltage(v):
*fan current(A):
*fan connector:
5.What is the divery time?
Sample lead time:2-5 days
Mass production Delivery lead time: 1 -2 weeks
Delivery Ways: DHL, UPS Door to Door service, By Air, By Sea, etc.
6. What can I do if we can not find the suitable fan model in the fan list?
Please feel free to contact us for customized fans.
* Such as: moisture roof, water proof, turbocharger, soft start, Reversible, temperature control, PWM speed control, the RD alarm and the FG signal etc.
IP 55: Protection of motor and PCB board against splashed water and humidity.
Speed signal: The fan uses a separate wire to output information about its speed, and thus about the speed of the rotor.
PWM control input: The speed of the fan can be changed via a pulse-widthmodulated signal. This signal is applied to a specially provided wire.
7. How do we carry out quality control?
Usually, there are two ways to monitor reliability during the manufacturing process.
* Early Life Test This is used as a mean of process control aimed at identifying any latent manufacturing problems and determining the effectiveness of burn-in. Every day, 5 samples will be picked up randomly from one of the production lines for burn in at 50C+/-5C for 24 hours.
*On-going Reliability Demonstration This is a longer-term program aimed at providing data on continuous basis to demonstrate the reliability of product. 10 units per month are randomly collected from one of the production lines for burn-in for 168 hours at 50C+/-5C. Units are monitored and tested on daily basis. Failed units will be analyzed and corrective actions taken where necessary.
