 Techron Surgicals's Nerve Root Suction Retractor is a specially designed mirror finish retractor for use in a wide variety of neurosurgical/Spinal procedures. It is used to pull back vital soft tissues, like nerves and dura matter, during different cranial and spinal surgery procedures. It has a long and reaching round shaft, a slender and elongated neck, and a smooth-surfaced lipped crescent shaped blunt edge blade. This retractor is ideally suited for retraction of nerve roots during procedures such as spinal surgery that require manipulation of delicate nerve tissue. It features an angled neck to reach deep into the surgical field. Additionally this instrument features with a suction channel inside to the end enabling it to remove blood and other fluid which keeps the surgical field clear. It has a luer lock for suction. So you can use any luer lock lock syringe also for suction.
