Anion is a kind of electron (e-) which is discharged by corona generated by DC high voltage from the top of the carbon brush after the low voltage power is risen as DC negative HV through charge pumping circuit, electrons can’t stay in the air for long (the life is only nS level), and will be caught by O2 in the air and form anion.
