APPLICATION: Currently, ε-Polylysine is widely used as food preservatives, such as: cake, pastry,
snack foods, butter, salad, sauce, beverage, wine, meat product, can, etc. You may confect the
ε-Polylysine with the food and mix fully or Spray ε-Polylysine directly onto the surface of food. Both
of the methods are proved to have conspicuous antibiotic action and preservative effects in killing
or inhibiting the pathogenic microorganism in food or on food surface.
USAGE: You may confect the 5-10% ε-Polylysine solution with cold boiled water or distilled water,
then put it into the food and mix fully,s hould adopt grading expanding method to add, in order to
achieve the purpose of mixing. If it is used together with other food preservatives, can attain better
effect.
STORAGE: Seal, away from direct sunlight, under 15C. Shelf life is 2 years.
Application
In Japan, the epsilon polylysine has been approved as a preservative added to food, are
widely used in corrosion resistance, convenient Steamed Rice wet cooked noodles, vegetables,
seafood sauce, soy sauce, fish, and biscuits preservation.
When epsilon polylysine is used match with other natural preservatives, it has the obvious
synergetic effects,it can strong enhance the antibacterial activity .It lays a foundation for the
wide use of epsilon polylysine in the food.

Q. How much Polylysine do I need in my application?
A. It varies based on your application, condition, and your expectations, but generally
20-250ppm is recommended. In some applications, Polylysine works best in
combination with other preservatives. Our sales staff can give you information
specific to your application.

A. Polylysine works best with moist foods of neutral to higher pH and higher temperature
(that’s right, HIGHER pH and temperature are NO PROBLEM for Polylysine). Polylysine
can be refrigerated, frozen, boiled, baked and gets right to work when it needs to.
