Bark contains saponins, tannins and so on. The bark of Albizzia chinensis, a jacaranda tree, contains triterpenoid saponins called Albitocin. Echinocytic acid, glucose, xylose, arabinose, fructose and rhamnose were synthesized by hydrolysis of all-biside from the pericarp of Albizia alba pod .
Function
1. Anti-fertility effect The cold-water extract of Albizia jubiliza bark has significant anti-fertility effect. Intracavinal administration can make the fetuses of middle pregnant rats atrophy, pale color and stop pregnancy. The contractive tension and amplitude of human pregnant uterine strips were significantly increased, while the contractive frequency was significantly decreased under the effect of Albizia bark extract. The effect of Albizia bark was similar to oxytocin, but the effect time was slower and the duration was longer. The effective anti-fertility component of Albizia jubilissin was saponins. The total saponins of Albizia jubilissin at 1.78mg/kg subcutaneously had significant anti-implantation effect, and could reduce the number of pregnant animals and normal embryos in rats, and the pregnancy termination rate was 86%.
2. The anti-allergy Albizia jubiza peel decoction can inhibit the degranulation of peritoneal mast cells in rats by intragastric administration, and the in vitro experiment also has similar effects. The decoction of Albizia jubizia bark could obviously inhibit the sensitization process of antigen (horse serum) and the production of antibody in rats. The active ingredient appears to be a heat-resistant water-soluble substance.
3. Anti-tumor effect The polysaccharide contained in the bark of Albizia juliana inhibited mouse transplanted tumor S180 by 73% .
Application
The bark contains about 37-40% tannin.
The flowers are used to produce yellow dye, and the seed pods are used to produce green dye.
An organic chemical compound called kaempferol gives the flowers of Acacia decurrens their color.
