Many popular devices like Ubiquiti use this method to centralize the power source - you can go for 328 ft with a 24v supply to a typical Access Point.
Connect the power supply you need (24v for Ubiquiti, 48v for 802.3at or 802.3af) and reduce the mess of cables. Reboot all 16 devices from one central location.
The input dc hole diameter is 2.1mm and the other end OD id 5.5mm. And the other is 3 PIN(V+,V-,GND) din power connector for input. Each socket provides protection against short overflow (current protection1000mA+10%-10%).
Therecommended formula for AC-DC power converter is 15W per RJ45 set (1 set = 2 x RJ45sockets). For example, 24 x15W = 360W for 24 port Passive PoE panel .
