Multi-purpose High gloss PU Paint for Industrial steel in sea weather JONA MODIKYD PU

JONA^®MODIKYD PU- (MODIFICATIVE URETHANE ALKYD COATING) -  is the high gloss finish coating based urethane modified Alkyd resin.

It is used as a multi-purpose coating for finishing surfaces in industrial and mechanic fields,

and surfaces of vessel sections which are effected of sea water and sea weather.

• Good adhesion, hard film, durability.
• Excellent resistance to sea water and sea weather.
• Standing impact and abrasion well.

Tools:

Airless spray: the fluid tip diameter is from 0.43mm to 0.65mm, min output fluid pressure is 15MPa (150kp/cm²). The angle of spray from 40⁰to 65⁰.

Conventional spray.

For inconsiderable surfaces: brush can be used, care must be taken to achieve the specified dry film thickness.

Clean tools after using.  

• The practiced surface should be clear, dry and free from oil and grease. 
• Stir well to the can bottom.
• Thinner should be only used in the case of exceptional circumstances (max. 5% by the weight).

• The practiced surface temperature is more than 10⁰C (It’s at least 5⁰C above the dew point) and the practiced space humidity is equal or less than 85%.
• Drying time depends on temperature, humidity and ventilation of application space. High temperature and good ventilation help the drying time to be more quickly.
