Working principle.
Put the rubber sample into the almost completely closed cavity, and maintained at the test temperature, the cavity has upper and lower of two parts, where the lower part is with a small linear reciprocating movement (oscillatory oscillation), the sample shear strain caused by the strain to determine the reaction of the sample against the mold cavity torque (force), this torque (force) depends on the rubber shear modulus.
After the vulcanization test, the shear modulus of the sample increases. The computer real-time displays and records the torque (force). When the torque (force) rises to the steady value or the maximum value and returns, and get the relation curve (Figure 1) of torque Force versus time. The shape of curve is related to the temperature of the test and the characteristics of the compound.
