Q: Do they have anything like this signal booster for a truck driver that travels all over?
A: Yes, we have signal booster for vehicles. The power adaptor for the car signal booster is car kit power adaptor. The outside antenna for a truck is sucker antenna or sticker antenna, while inside antenna applied is normally the whip antenna.
Q: I live in Mexico in a border city with the US and occasionally be able to use Verizon’s signal. Which cell phone signal booster is good for me?
A: We have dual band signal booster 850/1900MHz and 700/1700MHz etc, which can be used for you. Please contact us for more information.
Q: Can the signal booster be programmed so that only my devices benefit from the increased signal?
A: No, unfortunately the signal booster cannot be programmed. Any device with channel access in range can benefit. You can turn it off when you do not need the signal booster though.
Q: How close to the indoor antenna do you have to be to get boosted signal?
A: Generally speaking, one indoor ceiling antenna can cover about 2500 square feet. Indoor walls can weaken the signals between different rooms. You can use more than one indoor antenna for bigger indoor coverage if needed. Make sure the indoor antenna is mounted on the ceiling in the middle of the room. The outdoor antenna is located outside of your house and catches good signal. How strong signal the outdoor antenna catch also affect on the coverage of the indoor antenna. The outdoor antenna should be well isolated from the indoor antennas to avoid feedback.
Q: What kind of power supply do you use for the signal booster?
A: Our power supply used with the signal booster is mainly Input 100-240V 50/60Hz, Output 12V 2A. Some model of signal booster power supply Input 100-240V 50-60Hz; Output 5V 1A.
For different countries, we have different power adaptors with different pins, including two round pin, two flat pin and three pins etc.
Please contact us for confirmation of the right one for your signal booster.
