 TENS works by passing harmless electrical signals into the body from its pads. This relieves pain in two ways: Firstly, "high frequency" continuous, mild, electrical activity may block the pain signal travelling to the brain. Brain cells perceive pain.
Secondly, TENS stimulates the body release its own natural pain-control mechanism. "Low frequency" or short bursts of mild, electrical activity may cause the body to release its own pain easers, called beta endorphins.

 (1) Never use this product in concurrence with the following devices: pacemakers or any other embedded electronic medical devices, heart-lung machine and any other lifekeeping electronic medical devices, electrocardiograph and any other medicalscreening and monitoring devices. Simultaneous use of DOMAS TENS and any of the above devices will cause malfunction and can be very dangerous to the users.

(2) Do not use this device on patients whose pain syndromes are undiagnosed.
