Methanol synthesis catalyst is a kind of copper based methanol synthesis catalyst, the main component is CuO/ZnO/Al2O3 (Cu Zn Al). Which is used in low-pressure methanol synthesis process with coal, natural gas or oil as feedstock.

Methanol synthesis catalyst is widely used in methanol synthesis unit with natural gas, coke oven gas, refinery gas, naphtha, coal, oil field gas as raw materials, including Lurgi and ICI medium and low pressure processes.
