Newly designed grinding curves of grinding roller and grinding ring further enhance the grinding efficiency of SCM quartz powder machinery . With the same fineness and power, the production capacity is 40% higher than that of jet grinding mill and stirred grinding mill, and the yield is twice as large as that of ball grinding mill. However, the system energy consumption is only 30% of the jet grinding mill.
SCM quartz powder machinery ’s cage-type powder selector adopts German technologies, which effectively increases the precision of powder separation. In addition, multi-head cage-type powder selector can be configured according to the users' requirements on yield, fineness and sieving rate. The product fineness can be adjusted between 325-2500 meshes, and the screening rate can achieve d97≤5μm once.
There is no rolling bearing and screw inside the chamber of SCM quartz powder machinery , so users are free from worries about damages on bearing or its sealing parts, and there is no machine damage problem caused by loose screws.

Main unit’s working process
Each rotary table at each layer is driven by the electric motor through inputting power into the main shaft by the speed reducer of the main engine. Three layers’ ring roller rolls and rotates in the roller path of the grinding rings.
When materials are uniformly fed into the center of the upper rotary table, they are scattered to the circum of the circle under the action of centrifugal force and fall into the roller path of the grinding rings and then punched, pressed, grinded and crushed by the rolling mill and materials will afterwards fall into the second and third layers to be further crushed through after the first layer crushing.
Finally, the fine powder will become the finished products by entering into the whirlwind powder collector along with airflow and via a discharge valve at its bottom while the airflow with few fine dusts will be purified by the pulsed jet filter and discharged through the fan and silencer.
Guiyang 8TPH Calcite Grinding Line
Shougang Guiyang Special Steel Co., Ltd. planned to build a superfine powder production line in its industrial park. The annual yielding was expected to reach 60,000 tons per year. After inspections and evaluations among foreign and domestic machine manufacturers, SBM won the cooperation.
Project Background
The customer wanted to produce S95 steel slag powder by adding superfine powder to the slag ground by grinding mill. The finished product would be used in superfine steel slag powder, mineral slag powder, high-strength phosphorus slag powder, composite mineral powder and cement.

Technological Process
Process: The forklift sends the materials to warehouse of material first. Then the materials would be sent by variable frequency belt feeder to the SCM1250S Mill where materials are ground. Finally, the finished products are sent to the elevator by spiral conveyor. The finished products are stored storage tank and then transported to the mixing plant to mix with steel slag to produce the building material.
