Chamomile is an Asteraceae plant that is native to Europe. It is an annual or perennial herb with a plant height of 30-50 cm. The entire plant is glabrous and has an aroma. Stems erect, branched upper. Leaves two to three times pinnately lobed, lobes thinly stripped, apex pointed. Flowering from April to May, heads terminal or axillary, 1.5-2 cm in diameter. Corolla outer tongue-shaped, white, inner corolla tube-shaped, yellow. Achenes are extremely small, oblong or obovate. The seeds are small, about 10,000 seeds per gram.
