Liquid silicone resuscitator

* Manual resuscitation is a form of artificial respiration that uses a breathing bag (manual resuscitator) to assist patients with breathing.

* It is usually used when the lungs are not functioning properly.The breathing bag is filled with oxygen and is squeezed by hand by the doctor, nurse or respiratory therapist.

* You may also heared the breathing bag as an Ambu bag.
* Once squeezed, the bag self-inflates. One end of the bag is attached to an oxygen source and the other end to a facemask or breathing tube.

Caution

* This product must be used by personnel thoroughly trained in the techniques of pulmonary resuscitation.

* Clear patient's airway before using manual resuscitator.

* Always check for proper function of resuscitator.

* Verify proper valve action. Verify patient is being ventilated by observing alternate rise and fall of the patient's chest and color of lips and face during resuscitation.

* Always make functional test of the resuscitator after unpacking and assembly.

* Do not use the resuscitator in toxic or hazardous atmospheres.

* Oil or grease should not be used in close proximity to oxygen equipment-fire may result.

* No not smoke or use open flames when oxygen is in use-fire may result.
