Hydrant mounted fire monitor is combined of fire water monitor and quick opening pressure antifreezing hydrant. Its characteristic is that it has both the functions of fire monitor and fire hydrant which has the features of fast opening, pressure adjustment and anti-freezing functions.
When use the fire monitor, first open the valve of quick opening pressure regulating hydrant by using the fire hydrant wrench; then open the ball valve under the fire monitor to spray water. When need closing, first close the valve of the quick opening and pressure regulating hydrant; 5 minutes later, when the water in the fire monitor and hydrant is emptied from the automatic water discharge opening, close the ball valve under the fire monitor. This operation is very important otherwise it will freeze the equipment.
The fire hydrant is the fire fighting equipment that is equipped with the fire monitor. Its features are as follows: simple operation, the functions of voltage regulation, anti-collision and anti-freezing etc.. The fire hydrant equipped with fire monitor has two 65 interface and 150 water inlet. It can be installed in the oil tank area, pipeline of all kinds of petrochemical enterprises, oil field, docks and ports where need key fire prevention.
